Excursions Andalusia
Here we like to present some suggestions for trips in Andalusia that may inspire you. Ronda (about 2 hours drive and highly recommended) is a small town in the Andalusian province of Málaga (Spain). Ronda mainly is known for its location: the Moorish influenced old town is located on a plunged cliff and is separated from the newer district by a nearly 100 m deep canyon. In Ronda you have a spectacular view on the surroundings.

Seville (about 3 hours by car) is a city in southern Spain. It is the capital of the Autonomous Region of Andalusia and the province of Seville. Especially worth seeing is the cathedral Maria de la Sede. It is the biggest Gothic cathedral (and according to the St Peter's Basilica in Rom and the St. Paul´s Cathedral in London the third biggest church) of the world and one of the most beautiful Gothic churches. Since 1987 the building belongs to the World Heritage Site of the UNESCO.
Cadiz (approx. 1 hour) is the capital of the province of Cádiz in the autonomous region of Andalusia in southern Spain, with 130,561 inhabitants. The town stands on a headland to the bay of Cadiz, a small part of the Gulf of Cadiz. The old town with the districts of El Pópulo, La Viña, and Santa María stands in sharp contrast to the skyscrapers of the modern new town. The cityscape is dominated by many small squares. Tarifa, the southernmost point of Europe Tarifa only due to its location is a special place, the southernmost city of the European continent, only 14 kilometers away from Africa. Who visited Tarifa once will in the majority of cases return. Tarifa has this special touch because of the people who are at the beach and in the beach bars in the daytime and who stroll in the old town with its various bars and restaurants in the evening. Tarifa is not an exciting city, here life is passing slowly and leisurely, stress is a stranger. Tarifa is famous especially for surfers and kiters, the capital of the wind they call it, because it is always there, the wind. Tarifa has its own energy, some say the energy is collected here in the funnel of Europe at the southernmost tip of Spain. The last point of Europe before a new continent appears: Africa, different but to rediscover everywhere in Tarifa. They have been here, the Arabs, a long time ago. From almost all points in Tarifa you can see across to Africa, so close ... almost tangible. Experience for yourself how Tarifa enchants. Enjoy the breathtaking nature of Andalusia.
